Rear Latch Arm Drive Wire (Cable)

REMOVING THE DRIVE WIRE FOR THE REAR LATCH ARM






Remove the 12 screws from the bracket for the motors.
Fold the motor bracket forward.

Note: The bracket for the motors may be secured with butyl tape.

Heat up the metal with a hot air gun.






Remove:
- the locking for the wires
- the drive wire from the motor.






Remove the drive wire from the rear latch arm (spline joint).
Draw the wire out through the hole in the motor bracket.
Replace the wire.

Note: The drive shaft must not rotate during replacement.

INSTALLING THE DRIVE WIRE FOR THE REAR LATCH ARM






Install the drive wire for the rear latch arm (spline joint).
Insert the wire through the hole in the motor bracket.






Install:
- the drive wire from the motor
- the locking for the wires.






Install the 12 screws in the bracket for the motors.
