Reading Out and Erasing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Stored Diagnostic Trouble Codes Can Be Read Out And Erased Using This Facility.

The diagnostic system can identify 10 different faults in the form of diagnostic codes. For a list of diagnostic trouble codes and trouble shooting of diagnostic trouble codes, Testing and Inspection

Diagnostic trouble codes can be erased when all stored codes have been read at least once during the same ignition on session and the code status is intermittent for all codes. Internal diagnostic trouble codes cannot be erased.

The roll bar circuit registers diagnostic trouble codes with the following diagnostic trouble symptoms:
Short circuit
Open circuit
Short circuit to ground
Short circuit to voltage supply.

The ROPS warning lamp circuit registers diagnostic trouble codes with the following diagnostic trouble symptoms:
Open circuit or short circuit to ground
Short circuit to voltage supply.
