Primer

Applying primer to untreated panel surfaces




An etching primer should be used for the primer coat.

Note! Etching primer should be applied to clean panel surfaces. The primer should be sprayed on in one coat.

Allow the primer coat to air-dry (between 20-30°C)

Use base filler to level out any small uneven patches.




Use fine base filler to even out any small hollows and recesses remaining visible after applying the primer. The base filler is applied in thin layers, max 3 layers per hour.
Allow the base filler to dry and sand down the fine base filler using P 320 sandpaper.
Spray on the primer.

Wet sand the surface on which the primer has been applied using P 600 sandpaper.
