Base filler

Coarse base filler




Base filler designed for (galvanized sheet) larger uneven surfaces. Mix carefully with the accompanying hardener. Refer to the instructions on the can. Do not apply thicker than 1 mm.
The wrong hardener or the wrong amount of hardener can give rise to patchy paint surfaces.

Fine base filler




Base filler designed for surfaces which are not as uneven as for coarse base filler. Mix carefully with the accompanying hardener. Refer to the instructions on the can.

Allow the base filler to dry.
The data given below is approximate and can vary for different manufacturers. Therefore always follow the manufacturers' recommendations.
Drying time 20-30 min at room temperature (20°C).
Accelerated drying can be used on the base filler as follows:






Note! There is always a risk of paint work cracking with the accelerated drying of polyester products.

Sand the base filler with dry sandpaper P 180 and an oscillating sanding machine.




Do not coarse sand with paper coarser than P 80.
Do not wet sand.
