Final Check of Deadlock Function

Checking deadlock function

- Remove the key from the ignition switch

- Close hood and doors including trunk lid/tailgate, ensure that all the side windows are open

- Disconnect the alarm sensors temporarily by pressing LOCK on the inner central locking switch for at least 3 seconds (when the ignition is switched on next the alarm will return to normal function).

Lock the car with the key and wait for approximately 25-30 seconds for the deadlock to be activated (can be heard by the lock motors being activated once more).

Check that all doors are deadlocked by trying the interior door handles these should be disconnected. Check that the interior central locking switches are out of function by pressing on LOCK respectively UNLOCK.
