Checking The Connectors







- Remove driver's door panel.

- Check VGLA-control module connector and connector for tailgate switch for contact resistance and oxidation Checking Wiring and Terminals - Permanent Faults

- Ignition on.

Activate switch for opening tailgate.
Read off switch status.
The value should be LOW when the switch has been activated.
If the value is OK the cause of the fault has been loose connections in the connectors.

Is the value LOW?

Yes - Test complete

No - Checking For an Open-Circuit
