Checking The Door Switch In The Passenger Door







- Expose the passenger door lock unit according to Front and rear doors.

- Check VGLA control module and black lock unit connector for contact resistance and oxidation Checking Wiring and Terminals - Permanent Faults

- Ignition on.

Close the passenger door.
Then open the passenger door, check the door switch status.
The value should change from HIGH to LOW.
If the value is OK the fault was probably caused by loose connections in the connectors.

Does the value change from HIGH to LOW?

Yes - Test complete

No - Checking For an Open-Circuit
