Checking The Door Switch







- Expose the driver's door lock unit according to Front and rear doors.

- Check VGLA control module and black lock unit connector for contact resistance and oxidation Checking Wiring and Terminals - Permanent Faults

- Ignition on.

Open the door
Read off the status of the door switch in the driver's door.
The value should be LOW when the door is open.
If the value is OK the cause of the fault was loose connections in the connectors.

Is the value LOW?

Yes - Test complete

No - Checking For an Open-Circuit
