Checking The Connectors







- Remove the driver's door panel.

- Check VGLA control module connector and fuel tank filler cover switch connector for contact resistance and oxidation, Checking Wiring and Terminals - Permanent Faults

- Ignition on.

- Activate the fuel tank filler cover opening switch

Read off the switch status.
The value should be LOW when the switch is activated.
If the value is OK the cause of the fault was loose connections in the connectors.

Is the value LOW?

Yes - Test complete

No - Checking For an Open-Circuit
