Checking Contact Resistance
- Expose the lock unit in the driver's door.
- Check the connector for the VGLA control module and the gray lock unit connector. Check for contact resistance and oxidation. See Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults
- Ignition off
- Connect the breakout box
- Connect an ohmmeter between terminals #A18(A18) and #A1(A1).
Turn the key in the driver's door to the unlocking position.
The value must be infinite when the lock is unaffected and 0 [ohm] when the key is turned to the unlocking position.
