Checking, Activation/deactivation Of The Alarm

- Remove the key from the ignition switch.
- Close the hood, doors and trunk lid.
- If the car is equipped with remote control, lock the car with the remote control. Otherwise lock it with the key and check that the doors and trunk lid are locked.

The LED above the dashboard starts flashing when the alarm is activated.
If the alarm is programmed to indicate activation then the turn signal lamps flash once.
Unlock the car with the remote control or with the key. The doors should now be unlocked and the LRD should stop flashing.
If the alarm is programmed to indicate activation/deactivation then the turn signal lamps flash twice.
