Checking Connectors







- Ignition off.
- Remedy control module, alarm relay and alarm horn connectors for contact resistance and oxidation, Checking Wiring and Terminals - Permanent Faults

Check for damage etc.
- Reinstall components, reconnect connectors etc.
- Ignition on.

Activate the alarm horn.
The alarm horn should give a short sound tone.
If the alarm horn now functions the fault was caused by loose connections in the connectors.

Does the alarm horn function?

Yes - Test complete

No - Checking Fuse, Cables
