Checking movement sensor function




- Ignition off.
- Remove the key from the ignition switch.
- Close all the doors including hood and tailgate.
- Open the driver's door window completely.
- Lock the car using the remote control to arm the alarm.
- Wait approximately 25 seconds (so that the alarm goes into monitoring mode).
Lean into the car and wave your arms.

Note! Be prepared to deactivate the alarm by unlocking the car with the remote control. The audible signal is very loud.

The alarm should be triggered - it should produce audible and visible alarms.

Is the function OK?

Yes - No Fault Found

No - Replacing component

Hint: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied as follows.




- Ignition off.
