Replacing antenna ring

Preparations
Make a note of the anti-theft radio code.
Disconnect battery negative lead.

Removal





Remove:
- lower steering wheel cover.
Carefully pry out the antenna ring catch with a screwdriver and pull out the antenna ring.

Remove:
- antenna ring connector.

Caution! Be careful not to damage the cable to the airbag module when releasing the antenna ring catch.

Installation
Connect the connector to the antenna ring.
Thread on the new antenna ring over the ignition switch and press in until the catch grips.

Caution! Be careful not to damage the airbag module cable in the steering wheel when the antenna ring is installed.

Install:
- lower steering wheel cover.
- battery negative lead.
Enter the anti-theft radio code.
