Condition




If the resistance in the circuit is too low for more than 3 seconds, diagnostic trouble code SRS-223 will be set.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to ground in the connector or in the ignition lead between the passenger airbag and the control unit.
- Short circuit to ground in passenger air bag (resistance too low in ignition device).

Fault symptom[s]
- The SRS warning lamp is lit

Warning! There is a risk that the SRS passenger airbag module will not function if this diagnostic trouble code is set.
