Condition




If the resistance in the circuit is too high for more than 3 seconds, diagnostic trouble code SRS-222 will be set.

Possible source
- Contact resistance in the connector or break in the lead between the passenger airbag and the control unit.
- There is an open circuit in the air bag module (resistance too high in ignition device).

Fault symptom[s]
- The SRS warning lamp is lit

Warning! There is a risk that the SRS passenger airbag module will not function if this diagnostic trouble code is set.
