Condition




Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-211 is stored if resistance in the wiring circuit is too low for longer than 3 seconds

Possible source
- Short-circuit in the connectors or in the signal cable between the driver's airbag and the control module
- Short-circuit in the driver's airbag (resistance too low in the igniter)
- A connector is not connected between the driver's airbag and the control module. The connector may have a short-circuit element which means that the terminal pins are short-circuited.

Fault symptom[s]
- The SRS indicator lamp lights.

Warning! There is a danger that the SRS steering wheel module will not operate if this diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored.
