Checking the control unit




- Ignition on.
- Use the System test functions to test the control unit's internal circuits (GPS). The test can take up to approximately 40 seconds. For more information about System test, see System Test System Test.
Check that the control unit is OK.
If the control unit is working, OK is displayed.

Yes - Intermittent fault

No - Replacing the component

Hint: The control unit contains a number of settings which the user can set himself. Before the control unit is replaced, these settings should be read and noted if possible. This is so the new control unit can be set in the same way.

Hint: After the repair it is necessary to check that the fault has been rectified:












- Ignition off.
- Connect the connectors, install the components etc.
- Ignition on.
