Fault counter

Replacing component
The solenoids have a fault counter which count upwards each time a solenoid is activated. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ROP-451 is stored when the fault counter reaches the decimal number of 200.
The deployment counter may only be reset when the roll-over bar cassette is being replaced.

Hint: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied.








- Ignition off.
- Reinstall connectors, components etc.
- Ignition on.
Reset the deployment counter.





Can the deployment counter be reset?

Yes - VERIFIED

No - VERIFICATION FAILED
