Checking the wiring
- Ignition off.
- Disconnect the control module connector.
Connect an ohmmeter between 5 and 21. Test for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Check the control module connector for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
The ohmmeter should read infinite resistance.
Remedy as necessary.
