Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition
Motor 1 controls the seat adjustment forward/backward. If the voltage from the potentiometer for motor 1 to control module terminal V1 falls below 0.2 V diagnostic trouble code (DTC) PSL/PSR-212 is set.

Possible source




- Contact resistance in terminals.
- Loose contacts in terminals.
- Defective potentiometer, motor 1.
- Open-circuit in supply lead between control module and potentiometer, motor 1.
- Open-circuit in signal lead between control module and potentiometer, motor 1.
- Signal lead between control module and potentiometer to motor 1 short-circuited to ground.
- Defective control module.

- Memory activation does not work.
