- Ignition off.
Read off value from potentiometer 2.
Use the control knob and adjust the backrest rake.





The value from potentiometer 2 should only be affected when the backrest is adjusted. The backrest should stop when the button is released.

Not OK - Replacing component

Try a new control module according to Control module, replace Control Module.

Hint: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied as follows:








- Ignition off.
- Reinstall components, reconnect connectors etc.
- Connect seat to car..

The fault is probably due to a relay in the control module temporarily sticking in the closed position and then opening correctly. If the fault persists after verification, try a new control module in accordance with Control module, replace Control Module.
