Try a new MCC control module according to Replacing or adjusting control cables / mechanical rear section and control panel / front section (Manual climate control / STANDARD) Service and Repair.

Hint: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied:












- Ignition off.
- Reinstall connectors, components etc.
- Start engine.
- Turn air distribution selector to all positions.
Read off diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) in MCC control module according to Diagnostic functions MCC Diagnostic Functions MCC.
With ignition off all stored diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), with the exception of MCC 5-1-2 in the MCC control module, are erased. With the ignition on the control module makes a new diagnosis and stores the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) if the fault remains.
