Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition




There is a potentiometer in the damper motor for recirculation which updates the control module with information on the current damper position. If the control module registers that the signal from the potentiometer is below 0.3 V diagnostic trouble code (DTC) 2-3-6 is stored.

Substitute value
The damper motor cannot be activated as long as the fault exists.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in signal cable (+).
- Power supply to potentiometer short-circuited to ground.
- Open-circuit in power supply to potentiometer.
- Defective damper motor.

Fault symptom[s]
- The REC bottom orange indicator LED flashes once when the ignition is turned on.
