Try to start the engine.

Does the engine start?

Yes - Checking for contact resistance and oxidation. Intermittent fault

No - Checking for contact resistance and oxidation. Permanent fault

- Ignition off.
The fault can be caused by temporary interference in the communication between engine control module (ECM) and immobilizer control module.

The fault can have been caused by too large potential difference between engine control module (ECM) and immobilizer control module.
