Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information
IMM-132 Key codes
Condition
The control module checks if there are any key codes stored in the EEPROM memory circuit every time the ignition is switched on. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) IMM-132 is stored if no key codes are stored. There are two reasons for diagnostic trouble code (DTC) being stored.
- The key codes have been erased from the EEPROM memory circuit and no other keys have been programmed in.
- The control module is not initiated.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is erased automatically during normal function when the first key code is programmed in to the control module memory and the ignition is switched off and then on.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is erased when the counter value is one.
Possible source
- The Immobilizer control module is not initiated.
- Faulty procedures when programming.
Fault symptom[s]
- Engine starts but stops immediately.
