IMM-122. Immobilizer control module

Condition




To indicate status (whether a control module is brand new or not) all new control modules (replacement parts) are delivered with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) IMM-122 active. After entering the PIN code this code is automatically erased.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is erased when the counter value is one.

Possible source
- Defective immobilizer control module.
- Faulty programming procedures.
- New immobilizer control module, not initiated.

Fault symptom[s]
- Engine starts but stops immediately.
