A diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if there is a short-circuit to supply voltage, ground or an open-circuit in the glow plug circuit.

Substitute value
Heater not activated.

Possible source
- Contact resistance in control module connector.
- Contact resistance in glow plug connection.
- Open-circuit in the signal cable.
- Short-circuit to ground or supply voltage in signal cable.
- Defective glow plug.

Fault symptom[s]
- Poor heating in passenger compartment.
