Read off the central locking switch status when the switch is in center position.
The value of both signals should be HIGH.

- Remove the central locking switch from the driver's door according to Door panel switch, replacement Removal and Replacement.
- Disconnect the central locking switch.
Read off the central locking switch status when the switch is in center position.
Is the value of both signals HIGH?
Yes - Replacing the component
No - Checking the central locking switch

Replace the central locking switch for the driver's door according to Door panel switch, replacement Removal and Replacement.
Continue - Verification

- Remove the central locking switch from the passenger door.
- Disconnect the central locking switch.
Read off the central locking switch status when the switch is in center position.
Is the value of both signals HIGH?
Yes - Replacing the component
No - Checking cables

Replace the central locking switch for the passenger door.

Check the cables between control module #A18 and driver's door central locking switch #C2, between control module #4 and driver's door central locking switch #C2, between control module #A16 and driver's door central locking switch #C4, between control module #A16 and passenger door central locking switch #C3 and between control module #A4 and passenger door central locking switch #C5 for a short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.
