Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition

If Electronic throttle module (ETM) registers that voltage feed is lower than 9 V for more than 9 minutes or is higher than 16 V for more than 5 seconds with the ignition on, then this information is sent to Engine control module (ECM) which then stores diagnostic trouble code ECM-91E0, Faulty voltage.
For upgraded software, released during year 2006 or later, certain adjustments have been made. If voltage is below 9 V or above 16.5 V for more than 30 seconds, with the engine running, the information is sent to Engine control module (ECM).
