Signal Too High. Permanent Fault
Signal too high. Permanent fault
Checking cables
Check reset valve camshaft resistance between #1 and #2, resistance should be approximately 3.7 ohm.
Check the signal cable between engine control module (ECM) #A13 and camshaft reset valve #2 for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.
Remedy as necessary.
Other information:
- To connect the breakout box, see Connecting the breakout box, B5234T9, B5244T7 Connecting The Breakout Box.
- With the ignition on and camshaft reset valve connector disconnected the voltage on connector #1 should be approximately Ubat and connector #2 be a pulse modulated signal with top voltage at approximately Ubat and with a frequency of approximately 250 Hz.
- For information about signals, see Signal specification Signal Specifications.
