Signal missing. Intermittent fault

Checking components and wiring
Check the engine cooling fan (FC) relay connector. Check for contact resistance and oxidation.
Check the power supply cable. Check for an intermittent open-circuit. Also check that the fuse is intact.
Check the cable between engine control module (ECM) terminal #A7 and engine cooling fan (FC) relay terminal #IN1. Check for an intermittent open-circuit.
Remedy as necessary
