Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-5000 is stored if the engine control module (ECM) registers a fault in the signal cable from the air conditioning (A/C) pressure sensor.
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-5000 is stored when the air conditioning (A/C) pressure is too low and it is registered by the engine control module (ECM) as a fault.
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-5000 is stored when the pressure in the air conditioning (A/C) system does not increase when the engine control module (ECM) has requested air conditioning (A/C) compressor engagement and is registered by the engine control module (ECM) as fault

- defective air conditioning (A/C) pressure sensor

Signal missing:
- defective air conditioning (A/C) pressure sensor
- low pressure in the air conditioning (A/C) system
- leakage in the air conditioning (A/C) system

Faulty signal:
- defective air conditioning (A/C) pressure sensor
- defective air conditioning (A/C) relay
- open-circuit in power supply to the magnetic clutch
- defective solenoid clutch/compressor
