Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECC-431 or ECC-432 is stored if the control module detects that the signal from the blower fan switch is faulty, depending on the fault.

Substitute value
The control module adopts a substitute value so that the blower fan only runs at one speed.

Possible source
- Defective blower fan switch, control module.

Fault symptom[s]
- The orange indicator LED in the REC and air conditioning (A/C) buttons flashes for approximately 20 seconds.
- The blower fan runs at one speed.
