Condition




Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECC-322 is stored if the control module detects that the damper motor has not reached the correct position within 12 seconds.

Substitute value
The control module adopts a substitute value corresponding to 100% defroster.

Possible source
- Open-circuit in the signal cable.
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the potentiometer power supply.
- Contact resistance in terminals.
- Defective damper motor.

Fault symptom[s]
- The orange indicator LED in the REC and air conditioning (A/C) buttons flashes for approximately 20 seconds.
