Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECC-316 is stored if the control module detects that the damper motor does not change position within approximately 15 seconds of activation.

Substitute value
No activation of the motor as long as the fault persists.

Possible source
- Defective or blocked damper motor.

Fault symptom[s]
- The orange indicator LED in the REC and air conditioning (A/C) buttons flashes for approximately 20 seconds.
