Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECC-311 is stored if the control module detects that the voltage across both cables to the damper motor is below approximately 0.5 V when the motor is activated or exceeds approximately 4 V when the motor is not activated.

Substitute value
No activation of the motor as long as the fault persists.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to ground or supply voltage in the control signal cable.
- Open-circuit in the control signal cable.
- Contact resistance in terminals.
- Defective damper motor.

Fault symptom[s]
- The orange indicator LED in the REC and air conditioning (A/C) buttons flashes for approximately 20 seconds.
- The passenger compartment temperature does not correspond to the set value.
