Condition




The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers that resistance in the fuel level sensor is below 5 ohms for more than 10 seconds.

Substitute value
- None.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to ground/voltage in signal cable.
- Faulty fuel level sensor.

Note! Vehicles with AWD. There are 2 fuel level sensors, one in each pump unit. The sensors are connected in series with each other.

- Fault in combined instrument panel.

- Fuel level reading faulty.
