Read off fuel level.
Check fuel level sensor connector for contact resistance and oxidation according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault. Check in particular for damage or loose terminal pins.
Note! Vehicles with AWD. There are 2 fuel level sensors, one in each pump unit. The sensors are connected in series with each other.
Remedy as necessary.
