Signal missing. Intermittent fault

Checking the connector

Note! The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) erases itself. This means that it is erased if the vehicle speed signal returns.

Note! The fault may also be in other speed dependent systems.




- Ignition off
- Check the control module connector for contact resistance and oxidation according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Connect an ohmmeter between control module A22 and combined instrument panel A7. Check for an intermittent open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Remedy as necessary.
