Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ABS-0012 or ABS-0022 (depending on the wheel sensor affected) is stored if the ABS control module registers that the signal from the wheel sensor is interrupted too many times during a 7 ms period,.

Substitute value
- ABS system is blocked.
- EBD function blocked.
- Anti-spin function blocked.
- TRACS system blocked (cars equipped with TRACS).

Possible source
- Contact resistance in terminals.
- Loose connections in wiring/connections.
- The cables are too close to a source of interference.
- Cable insulation damaged.

Fault symptom[s]
- ABS warning lamp lit.
- Anti-spin warning lamp lit.
- Brake circuit not functioning, warning lamp lit.
- No ABS function.
- Anti-spin does not function.
- No TRACS system (cars equipped with TRACS only).
