CCU-318 Opening Front Lock

Condition:
If there is no signal from the microswitch, rear position, front lock arm, then the front locking motor continues to operate despite running against a mechanical stop. A motor overload is detected and the diagnostic trouble code CCU-318 is displayed.

Possible Source:
- There is no microswitch signal.
- Voltage too high in the motor circuit.
- A short circuit in the signal wire.

Fault Symptom(s):
Power roof (hood) mechanism not working.
