CCU-212 Front Lock Microswitch

Condition:
If the microswitch on the front lock indicates that the hood is in the locked position when the hood is lowered, or if there is no locking indication when the hood is in the locked position, diagnostic trouble code CCU-212 is displayed.

Possible Source:
- The microswitch has become stuck in one position.
- Open circuit in the wire between the microswitch and the control unit.
- Short circuit to ground in the signalling circuit.

Fault Symptom(s):
Power roof (hood) mechanism not working.
