CCU-121 Hood Position Sensor

Condition:
If it is detected that the hood is in an incorrect position when the toggle switch is operated to move the hood and the CCU system tries to find a known position for the hood, diagnostic trouble code CCU-121 is displayed.

Possible Source:
- Manual action of the hood.
- The hood has got into the incorrect position for another reason.

Fault Symptom(s):
Power roof (hood) mechanism not working.

NOTE:
- The hood tries to find a correct position. This may appear to be a jerky movement or the hood may not move normally.
- This diagnostic trouble code can be used to confirm that the customer has had problems with the hood, but the problem may not be present when the car comes into the workshop.

The diagnostic trouble code can be erased without trouble-shooting.
