DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) INFORMATION

Condition
The control modules communicate with each other in a network via a standardized serial communication procedure - CAN (Controller Area Network) - to exchange information. Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) ECM-A00B is stored if the Engine Control Module (ECM) registers a fault in the communication with the Transmission Control Module (TCM).

- Open-circuit in the control area network (CAN) wiring
- Defective Transmission Control Module (TCM).

- Harsh gear shifting.
