ECM-341A REAR KNOCK SENSOR (KS)
DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) INFORMATION




Condition
Engine control module (ECM) checks the information from the knock sensor (KS) during normal driving conditions. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-341A is stored in the engine control module (ECM) if the engine control module (ECM) registers that the signal from knock sensor (KS) deviates from the tolerance.

Condition
Knock control is disabled ignition retarded for safety reasons

Possible source

Too little roar:
- contact resistance in connectors
- defective knock sensor (KS)

Too much roar:
- contact resistance in connectors
- defective knock sensor (KS)

Condition
- poor performance.
