ECM-130A MASS AIR FLOW (MAF) SENSOR
DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) INFORMATION




Condition
- engine speed (RPM) 1,500-2,500 rpm
- throttle opening 7-30° (however no large changes with the accelerator pedal (AP))
- speed 50-110 km/h
- Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) between 80-110°C. The desired value for mass air data is drawn from a table. It is applied with the actual atmospheric pressure and inlet Intake Air Temperature (IAT). Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) ECM-130A is stored if the control module registers that the difference compared to the actual mass air is too great for approximately 5 seconds.

Condition
A calculated value from the pressure sensor for the intake manifold and engine speed (RPM) is used.

Possible source

Faulty signal
- Faulty Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor.
- Contact resistance in the connectors.
- Defective fresh air intake hose.
