Fog/Driving Lamp Bulb: Service and Repair

For replacement of entire tail lamp assembly, Service and Repair

AE1 Position of Bulbs:





The tail lamp is divided into an inner and an outer lamp. The image shows the position of the bulbs on the right-hand side. The same applies to the left-hand side, but in reverse.

For type of bulb, Specifications

The bulbs have the following functions:
1 & 4 = Tail lamp/Parking lamps.
2 = Turn signal lamps.
3 = Stop (brake) lamp.
5 = Back-up (reversing) lamp.
6 = Fog tail lamp, only on the left (LHD cars).

AE2 Replacing Tail Lamp Bulbs:





Bulbs in the outer tail lamp are replaced from inside the cargo compartment. Bulbs in the inside tail lamp are replaced from inside the tailgate.
- Ignition off.
- Open cover for the tail lamp.
- Release the catch and remove the bulb holder (clips at A and B).
- Replace the faulty bulb.
- Assemble in reverse order.
- Test all bulbs.
