Breather valve bevel gear, replacing

Removing breather valve
- Remove the bevel gear.



- Pull out the brass pipe with side-cutter pliers.

Installing breather valve

Warning! Metal adhesive is corrosive, use gloves.

- Apply metal adhesive (Loctite 638) on the outside of the nipple's brass pipe.



- Tap in the nipple with a plastic hammer.
- Fit the filter on the nipple.
- Place the bevel gear so that it stands on the sump (like it is positioned in the vehicle).
- Remove the level plug and fill oil until it drains from the level plug's hole.

Caution! Then drain 0.1 liters of oil.

- Fit the level plug. Tighten according to summary.
