AA. Inspecting EBD Switch For Brake Fluid
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
- Check if there is brake fluid in the connector for the EBD switch or at the connector for the control module/pump motor.
- If no brake fluid is found in either of the two connectors proceed to BB.
- If brake fluid is present in either of the two connectors, the following is to be performed.
- 1. EBD Service kit and clean up of the 25-pole connector according to CC.
- 2. Replace the control module according to DD.
- 3. Replace the EBD switch. Install new EBD switch with P/N 9173210. See section EE.
- 4. Function check according to FF.
